By accessing or using TailorResume ("Service," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

Description of Service

TailorResume provides an AI-powered resume optimization platform that helps users:

• Analyze resumes for ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility
• Match resumes against job descriptions
• Receive optimization recommendations
• Generate tailored resume content
• Export optimized resumes

Account Registration

To use certain features of our Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Subscription Plans and Billing

Paid Subscriptions

We offer several subscription tiers:

• Free Plan: Limited analyses per month with basic features
• Basic Plan: Monthly subscription with expanded analysis limits
• Premium Plan: Unlimited analyses with advanced features

Payment Terms

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of your initial purchase. Refunds are not available for renewal payments or after the initial 7-day period.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to access the Service excessively
• Resell or redistribute our Service without permission
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive

• Share your account credentials with others

User Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload (including resumes and job descriptions). By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process and analyze your content to provide the Service
• Store your content securely on our servers
• Use anonymized, aggregated data for service improvement

We will not share your personal resume content with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of TailorResume (including but not limited to software, text, designs, graphics, logos, and trademarks) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Service Availability

We strive to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical issues
• Third-party service outages
• Force majeure events

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Using our optimization will guarantee job interviews or employment
• All defects will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAILORRESUME SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TailorResume, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload to the Service

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent activity
• Abusive behavior
• Non-payment of fees

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We may delete your data after account termination.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
